5 things every successful woman keeps in her handbag.

There’s nothing worse than digging into the bottom of your bag trying to find something you need – particularly when you’re out and about. Emptying the entire contents of your bag on a busy tube or when trying to pay for something can be extremely frustrating. A key to being successful is being organised. Which is why here at Sassy Digital we’ve compiled a list of the top 5 things every successful woman keeps in her handbag.

1. Phone

It’s important to stay connected when you’re out and about. Every successful woman makes sure that they have their phone at the ready to respond to urgent calls and emails wherever they are. Not only is it vital to have your phone on you, but make sure it constantly has juice! A portable charger can be an absolute lifesaver when you’re running low on battery, so make sure you keep one handy.

2. Business Cards

You never know who you’re going to bump into when you’re on the go; a potential client, supplier or even an old friend. Keeping your business cards on you allows you to share your contact information at ease. Having a physical piece of paper with your details is more memorable to the recipient than just jotting your number down on an old piece of tissue!

3. Healthy Snack

Working through lunch shouldn’t be a reoccurring event, but in the off chance that it does happen it’s a life saver to have a healthy snack at the ready. Keep a piece of fruit, some nuts or an energy bar in your bag to re-boost your energy and give you a quick pick me up. A personal favourite are energy bars from Squirrel Sisters (http://squirrelsisters.com/) – a great source of plant-based protein, vitamins and nutrients.

4. A Notepad & Pen

For when an idea springs to mind, you want to have a piece of paper handy to jot it all down. As well as schedule those important meetings! Nothing beats a good old fashioned piece of paper and pen, and the perfect notepad allows you to stay organised.

5. A Phone/Laptop Charger

This is one thing you definitely won't want to forget. Juice keeps your all important work tools from running flat. What use is your laptop or phone without battery? Always prepare for the worst case scenario.

...and when you've worked in a cafe all day - just double check you've unplugged your chargers from the wall and put them back in your bag. Everyone who works for them self will know the pain at least once of trying to find a lost charger they left in a hotel lobby or cafe.
